Berkenaan filem Tukang Perahu Pulau Duyong :
On Mermaid Island, Terengganu, several lives converge in their love and passion of the Malay traditional boatbuilding craft - a translator from France, a local historian, a former client from Germany, potential heirs of the craft, and the master boatbuilders. These interweaving oral histories take us on a soulful journey through this intimate community behind the little-known tradition of boatbuilding. The Boatbuilders of Mermaid Island was commissioned by FINAS (National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia),
and will have its world premiere at the Southeast Asian Film Festival 2013.Azharr Rudin’s short film about trust between strangers, Majidee (2005) won awards at film festivals in Hawaii, Tokyo and Singapore. His experimental six-set film The Amber Sexalogy premiered at the Singapore International Film Festival in 2006. His debut feature This Longing, an introspective look into the lives of residents of Johor Bahru
flats slated for demolition, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2008. Imri Nasution has been working in the film industry for many years.
